New Feature: Market Alerts

Easily monitor major changes in your market

One of the most consistent points of feedback we hear on HelloData is that people love how much data is available in the platform. You can easily analyze rent trends over different timeframes, compare metrics with your comps or dig into unit-level rent and concessions, then quickly export that data to Excel.

But with so much data, people can get overwhelmed too... which is why we launched the new market alerts panel (right under the new comps table).

The market alerts panel analyzes monthly and weekly changes across your comp set to show how your metrics have changed relative to the market. If rents, concessions, availabilities, etc. change significantly from one week to the next, the table generates an alert showing the change.

By describing market activity in plain English, we think this update will make it easier for clients to quickly understand and summarize what is going on in their markets. We're working on providing these alerts via API too, so if you're interested in pulling market alerts into your own products, let's discuss.
