What is Advertised Leased % and How is it Calculated?

To protect our customers, our data comes exclusively from property websites and other public data sources.  We only have access to data for units that are currently being advertised for rent. All other units are assumed to be occupied or pre-leased. This is why we show Leased %(Adv), or the number of units marketed as available for move in now (implying they are vacant and available to be leased) divided by the total number of units on the property.

If a property advertises ALL of the vacant units available for immediate move in, this number will match the actual Leased %. If they only advertise only a portion of the vacant units, the Leased %(Adv) will be higher than the true Leased %.
