Creating Market Surveys for New Developments
The New Development feature is for properties in the early stages of development, before they are publicly listed. Keep in mind that reports created here won't automatically update daily. Since this feature is for properties without published availability, you'll need to update the information manually. Once the property starts leasing and is listed publicly, you can create a new report for it using the New Report feature, just like you would for other existing properties.
To start building your New Development reporting, click "New Development" on the left navigation panel.
Enter the property's address, name, # of units, year built, and # of stories. If the property address has not been added to Google Maps, use a nearby address (adjacent lot, gas station, etc)
Enter your Floorplan information, or use the Recommended Unit Mix.
Next, enter your amenities. Click the Use Recommended to automatically generate similar amenities, or use the plus icon to add building and unit amenities.
Click "Save" to complete your development. We'll add comps next.
If additional comps should be added, click into the "Enter another address or building name" field. Just begin typing the property address or name then click on the option from the dropdown menu.
Once you've added your comps, click "Generate Report". Your New Development report will be saved to your dashboard.
